Product

The product is set to launch on Kickstarter on June 11, 2025, giving backers the chance to take advantage of exclusive early-bird rewards.
Kamingo works with most city, trekking, gravel, and folding bikes. It’s not compatible with wide-tread MTB tires, bikes without a rear triangle, or with certain mudguard setups.
Nope. You can raise the assist wheel and leave it on the bike. But if you're in a high-theft area, it’s just 10 seconds to remove and take with you.
Not at all. At just 2.3 kg (motor 920g, battery 1.4kg), Kamingo is lighter than most laptops and keeps your ride nimble and natural.
You’ll get up to 90 km depending on mode, terrain, and rider weight. Enough for most daily commutes or weekend rides.
Use the knob or throttle on the handlebar controller—Standby for pedaling, Assist for boost, and Cruise for throttle-powered riding.
Yes, it does. Kamingo recaptures energy when you slow down or go downhill. That energy goes back into the battery, slightly extending your range. It’s not a full recharge feature, but it helps make the most of every ride—especially on hilly routes.
Kamingo is IP6 waterproof and features a tire tread drainage design for safe grip on wet roads. And if debris or a stone gets lodged in your tire, the PAT system detects the irregular pressure and automatically lifts the motor to prevent slipping. You’ll also get a warning to check your tire.
It uses 16 high-density 21700 EV-grade cells—reliable, safe, and long-lasting. These are the same cells used in electric vehicles. It can also be used as a power bank. The battery has a USB-C output so you can power phones, lights, or other small devices.
Barely. Kamingo on a city bike runs at about 60 dB, about as loud as a regular bike tire rolling on pavement.
